Marquee Event Group has been in the event business for 30 years. Starting as a small party rental store in 1985, they have since developed into a prominent full-service event rental company that offers a wide range of items to move their client’s events to the next level.
As Marquee is held to such high regard, creative teams in the event industry love having the chance to present their work in their showroom for potential clients to see. With designs and themes changing every three months, the area showcases fantastic displays put together by local event planning, floral, and rental companies. Creative Consultants’ owner Victoria Hentrich actually had the pleasure of designing the first showroom back when the company first began. Set up for brides, she designed the space to attract potential customers and give them a visual of the type of space that could be created for them. The idea of the showroom took off, and it has been something Marquee kept throughout the years.
Now after nearly three decades, the opportunity arose for Victoria Hentrich and David Kurio to design the showroom together. This time the room was brought to life as a Nantucket-inspired haven. Beautiful shells, coral flowers, and dishware with sea creature designs adorned the long wooden dinner table. In addition to the main table, the design team created two beach-themed lounge areas complete with bright yellow umbrellas, comfy furniture, and small artifacts that reflect the seaside culture. The entire showroom came together wonderfully. It captures the essence of the small island of Nantucket, and shows customers just how much small details can turn a setting into something spectacular.
The display will be up at the Marquee Showroom in Austin until the end of August so be sure to stop by and take a look!
