Texas summers are bright and full of sunshine. Despite the warmer weather that it may bring, many couples enjoy taking advantage of the cheerful weather by having their wedding ceremony outside. Our clients from last weekend did just that. Held at Gabriel Springs in Georgetown, the ceremony site was a beautiful spot to exchange vows. A small bridge served as the entrance for the ceremony, having everyone cross over a scenic stream of water and greenery. White chairs and mason jar floral arrangements lined each side of the aisle, adding a personal touch to the space. As guests arrived, they all received a ceremony program that doubled as a fan, and a cold bottle of water to brave the Texas heat. It was a nice and thoughtful addition by the bride and groom that everyone seemed to really appreciate.
The ceremony was short and sweet, and once it ended guests made their way into the indoor reception hall. With red oak floors, open beam trusses, and beautiful string lighting and chandeliers, the space was perfect for the bride and groom’s rustic wedding. Light pink linens adorned the tables, and mixed floral arrangements set upon tree stems. The mix of hard and soft elements along with tons of lit candles created a romantic space to carry out the evening.
It was clear from the beginning that the couple and their guests know how to have fun, and it showed at the reception. After enjoying a snack bar during cocktail hour, an open bar with signature vodka and lemonade cocktail, and a BBQ buffet, the dance floor was constantly full. The DJ played a variety of music including today’s top pop hits and country songs for some Texas two-stepping. Everyone was truly enjoying the evening. To preserve the memories there was a photo booth where guests captured some fun snapshots, which also served as wedding favors.
As the night came to a close, family and friends gathered outside of the reception hall, creating an aisle for the bride and groom to make their grand exit. The couple made their way through the crowd, bubbles and happy cheers from friends and family sending them on their way. It was the perfect end to another lovely wedding, and we enjoyed being apart of it.
As always, we want to recognize the team of vendors that worked to make this special day one to remember.
